On October 11th 2014, The Blithedale Romance had their album release show at the New Brunswick, NJ venue The Bomb Shelter. The Blithedale Romance plays regularly at the Bomb Shelter and that is where you will find their most loyal fans. From the moment you walk into the basement, where the "stage" is you can feel the excitement the audience gives off. As the band begins to play it is clear that the audience is singing right along with them with great energy. There is a sense of community with underground shows because there isn't thousands of people in a huge auditorium, but instead there was about 150 screaming loyal fans all packed like sardines in this small location. Some may see playing or attending a show like this as undesirable but once you're there you see the charm. With friends surrounding and encouraging them the boys of Bithedale put on an energetic show that not only entertained musically but visually as well.
